The United States offers many affordable comforts to new comers, but health care is certainly not one among them.

Health care offered in the US is generally very high quality and very expensive. It is a very big business with billions of dollars spent on research by pharmaceutical companies, hospitals and even medical schools.

Unlike other countries, the US has little or no government sponsorship in health care except for those who are old and poor.

Health insurance, though expensive, is a definite requirement to stay in good health and receive medical care.
