Citizens
of several foreign countries do not require visas to enter
Singapore as tourists. Tourists however must have valid
passports, onward/return tickets, onward documents (visas,
entry permit, etc.) to their next

destination,
and sufficient funds for their stay. If
they need a longer stay, they must apply to the Immigration
Department upon arrival.
Visas
are not required for the citizens of the following countries:
- United
States of America, Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Germany,
Finland, France, Norway, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Italy,
Iceland, Luxemburg, Japan, Republic of Ireland.
- Countries
that are members of the British Commonwealth (except India)
- Philippines
(diplomatic, special or official passport holders)

Liechtenstein, Monaco, Netherlands, San Marino, Switzerland,
Thailand (diplomatic or service passport holders)

India (diplomatic or official passport holders)
Getting
a Visa
Tourist
Travel: The applicant must hold a passport valid 6
months beyond the stay in Singapore. Tourist visa is issued
for a period of 30 days that can be extended
in Singapore to 90 days through the Immigration Department.
Business
Travel: The applicant must hold a passport valid 6
months beyond the stay in Singapore.
Business visa requires a security deposit. A security deposit
of S$3000 for each applicant may be required from the local
sponsor. The security deposit should be in the form of a
Banker's Guarantee or Cashier's Order.
Processing
Time
3 working days provided the application is submitted over
the counter and no further verifications are required.
