Almost all the hotels are fully air-conditioned and come with in-room services such as direct dialing, color television, a mini bar, business centers, swimming pools, health clubs and at least an Asian and Western Restaurant.

There are also resort hotels on the offshore island of Sentosa and boutique hotels in the Chinatown conservation area. Singapore is also home to the legendary Raffles Hotel and the world's tallest hotel, The Westin Stamford.
